Kuna uwezekano wa ndege ilipotea ya  shirika la ndege la Malysia kuwa imezama katika  bahari ya india . 

Kupotea kwa ndege hiyo yenye nambari MH370 kuna uwezakno ya kuwa umesababishwa na   kushindwa kufanya kazi kwa ghafla kwa moja ya mifumo ya kundeshea  ndege hiyo kama ilivyotanabaishwa leo hii asubuhi na bosi wa shirika hilo.

Ofisa mkuu wa shirika hilo bwana  Ahmad Jauhari Yahya amesema ya kuwa wataalamu wa ajali hiyo wanaendelea kufanya utafiti endapo kugudungua kama kuna uwezazakno wa kufanana na tukio la ndege nyingine ya shirika hilo ya aina ya Boeing 777 iliyotokea mnamo mwaka 2005.

Katika tukio hilo ambalo lilitokea wakati ndege hiyo ilipokuwa ikitaka kuruka tokea mjini Perth, Australia kwenda Kuala Lumpur na mara ghafla baada ya kuwa inapaa ikatokea  hali ya isiyokuwa ya kawaida ghafla kwa kuruka juu kwa kasi na kukaribia kuzima kabisa katika chumba cha kuendeshea ndege hiyo na kulazimu mmoja wa wahudumu wa ndege hiyo kuanza kusali na mwingine aliyekuwa ameshikilia trei la vinywaji kulidoshosha chini  kabla ya rubani wa ndege hiyo kufanikiwa kuokoa ndege hiyo.

MAGARI yanayofanya safari zake katika Barabara ya Moshi-Arusha zimegoma kufanya safari kwa takribani masaa 9 yakipinga kulipishwa bondi ya makosa ya shilingi elfu 30 katika kila kituo kwa kosa lilelile.


Wakizungumzia chanzo cha mgomo huo, baadhi ya wamiliki na madereva wa magari yaendayo, Marangu, Rombo, Arusha, Rau pamoja na magari yote yanayotoa huduma katika maeneo ya mijini kama vile pasua KCMC na Uru, wamesema sababu ya msingi ya kufanya mgomo huo kulishinikiza kitengo cha usalama barabarani na Mamlaka ya usafiri wa majii ya nchi kavu (SUMATRA), kuangalia upya tozo hizo.

Akizungumza kwa niaba ya madereva hao, katika kikao kilichoitishwa na Mkuu wa mkoa wa Kilimanjaro, Leonidas Gama, na kukutanisha pande zote kwa maana ya Akiboa, Jeshi la Polisi na SUMATRA, Mwenbyekiti wa Akiboa kanda ya Kaskazini, Hussein Mrindoko, amesema kiini cha mgomo huo ni kitendo cha udhalilishaji wanaofanyiwa na askari wa usalama barabarani.

Kwa upande wake Mkuu wa kituo kidogo cha polisi Moshi mjini OCS, Hendry Nguvumali anayelalamikiwa kulazimisha faini kinyume cha sheria, pamoja na kufanya kazi akiwa mlevi amesema malalamiko yote yametokana na ukweli kwamba anafanya kazi kwa mujibu wa sheria za Jeshi la polisi.

Akijibu malalamiko yaliyolekezwa kwa SUMATRA kuhusu ucheleweshaji wa stika na ukamataji wa leseni za biashara ya usafiri, Meneja wa mamlaka hiyo mkoa Kilimanjaro Fabian Nyang’oro amesema SUMATRA imekuwa ikitekeleza majukumu yake kwa mujibu wa taratibu na sheria za usalama barabarani pamoja na sheria ya umiliki wa vyombo vya usafiri.

Amesema endapo mmiliki wa Chombo cha biashara ya usafiri atakiuka sheria hizo wao kama wasimamizi kazi yao sio kukamata magari bali kuhakikisha stika ambazo zimechukuliwa kinyume cha taratibu wa utoaji wa leseni za biashara zinafutwa.

Naye Mkuu wa mkoa wa Kilimanjaro Leonidas Gama, alisema kimsingi tatizo hilo halikutakiwa kuwepo maana taratibu zote za kisheria ziko wazi ambapo aliitaka SUMATRA kama wenye dhamana kuu na usafiri barabarani kuhakikisha wanakaa meza moja na Jeshi la Polisi pamoja na Akiboa kuzungumzia malalamiko yote yaliyowasilishwa na kuyapatia ufumbuzi.

Naye Mkuu wa Jeshi la Polisi mkoani hapo, Robert Boaz, aliwataka Madereva kufuata sheria na kuwataka kuacha kulalamika ambayo kimsingi wanayasababisha wao kutokana na kukiuka taratibu za usalama barabarani.

Amesema baada ya kutolewa kwa taarifa ya Mkoa wa Kilimanjaro kuwa ya pili kwa ajali za barabarani, Jehsi la Plisi mkoani hapo lilichukua hatua ya kuhakikisha inakabiliana na tatizo hilo ambalo alisema kwa asilimia kubwa husababishwa na uzembe wa madereva wawapo barabarani.

Kulingana na tafiti mbalimbali zinaonyesha ya kuwa muda wa kuchukua maamuzi kwa wakina dada limekuwa ni taatizo kubwa sana kwa kina dada.
Mmoja wa kina kaka mwenye uzoefu katika masuala ya dating alipohojiwa  yeye alisema ya kwamba mara nyingi wakina dada wanapaswa  kuwa wavumilivu angalau wawe wametoka (dating) na mvulana kwa angalau mara tatu ndipo washiriki nao katika tendo la ndoa ikiwa kama wanataka kujenga mahusiano ya kudumu.

Msongamano wa magari jijini Dar es Salaam unaweza kusimuliwa kwa namna nyingi.Ukweli ni kuwa, kila anayeishi jijini hapa ana maelezo yake kuhusu anavyoathirika namsongamano wa magari. Maeneo sugu ya foleni ni yale ya makutano ya barabara kubwa na sehemu nyingine ni zile ambazo huathirika wakati mvua zikinyesha. Hivi karibuni Rais Jakaya Kikwete alieleza kuwa katika kipindi chake cha pili atahakikisha jiji la Dar es Salaam linapata barabara za juu maarufu kama ‘fly-over’.
 

Kwa mujibu wa Rais Kikwete, barabara hizo zitajengwa katika maeneo ambayo yanakutanisha barabara mbalimbali na maeneo yanayokabiliwa na msongamano mkubwa. Barabara zinazopewa kipaumbele katika ujenzi wa flyovers ni zile za Mwalimu Nyerere na Morogoro. Lakini hizi bado ni kauli tu ambazo hazijaanza utekelezaji hali inayofanya kuendelea kumomonyoka kwa uchumi wa taifa na wa mtu mmoja mmoja. Ni jambo la wazi kuwa idadi ya magari inaongezeka kwa kasi jijini hapa, hali hii inaonesha kwamba watu kumiliki magari sio tena kitu cha anasa bali inatokana na uduni wa usafiri wa umma.

ATHARI ZITOKANAZO NA MSONGAMANO WA MAGARI

Wachangiaji wa mjadala huu wamebainisha athari zitokanazo na tatizo la msongamano wa magari katika jiji la Dar es Salaam. Zipo athari nyingi za kiuchumi, kijamii na kimazingira. Imebainishwa kwamba misongamano ya magari inachangia kwa kiasi kikubwa kuporomosha uchumi wa watu binafsi wa taifa na hata kuendeleza umaskini (Dk. Khamis).



Wananchi wanalazimika kutumia kiasi kikubwa cha mafuta (pesa) kutembea mwendo mfupi. “Angalia muda unaopotea barabarani na petroli/dizeli na mafuta mengine ya kulainisha mitambo inayopotea bure hasa ukizingatia kwamba vyote hivi tunaagiza nje ya nchi” ni hifadhi ya fedha za kigeni kiasi gani benki kuu inatumia kununulia bidhaa hizi,” alihoji Festo Maro. Vile vile athari zingine zilizoainishwa ni pamoja na uharibifu wa mazingira kutokana na hewa mkaa inayotolewa na magari yanayotumia muda mrefu njiani yakiwa yananguruma bila
kutembea. Vile vile watumiaji wa magari hayo hufika katika sehemu zao za kazi na hata majumbani mwao wakiwa wamechoka na hivyo kutokufanya shughuli zao ipasavyo.

Reports: To the Technical Officer

1.1 Responsibilities
The Systems Engineer will be expected to handle the following tasks:
System development and/or programming.
Assist the Technical Officer in technical management of the day to day running of the Centre;
Assist the Technical Officer in preparing technical reports and papers 011 the organizations activities for presentation to the Policy Advisory Committee (PAC) of tzNIC.
Assist the Technical Officer to administer the dot tz and its sub-domains and effectively provide Domain Registry Services to Registrars and Registrants,

1.2 Qualifications
Bachelor'S degree in Information Communication Technology! Computer science or equivalent qualifications
Knowledge in Internet routing protocols, Networking, Unix Operating systems, Domain Name Systems (DNS) and Databases.
Proficiency in either of following languages: Python, C. C-+-t-, Perl, HTML, MySQL. Php, CSS, Javascript and XML.
At least two (2) years working experience in the information Communication Technology (Internet, IT and/or Telecommunications) industry.
Knowledge of Cisco IOS and Junos technologies will be an added advantage.
1.3 Knowledge, skills and abilities Ability to work flexible hours.
Good interpersonal communication skills.
Proactive and self starting with ability to work unsupervised or with minimum supervision. Achievement and result oriented team player.

Reporting to the Regional Senior Trade Commissioner at the Canadian High Commission in Kenya and the Counsellor (Political) at the Canadian High Commission in Tanzania, the International Business Development Officer supports Canadian companies and partners who Wish to develop commercially successful projects in Tanzania, Comoros and the Seychelles. 1.  HISTORY

The Karimjee Jivanjee family came to Africa more than 200 years ago from Gujarat in India. We came as dhow traders from India to Zanzibar and established our business in Zanzibar in 1825.

Our business prospered and by 1920 we had expanded into Tanganyika. By 1950 the family was engaged in import and export trading, sisal and tea farming and sales and service of motor vehicles and motorcycles.

The Karimjee family established several charity trusts in the 1950’s and built many schools, hospitals and dispensaries and mosques and community centres. The most famous of these donations are; Karimjee Hall, Usagara Secondary School in Tanga (formerly Karimjee School), the Karimjee Clinic in Mnazi Moja, and the old Karimjee Hospital in Zanzibar. At the same time Karimjee gave scholarships to many Tanzanians to study overseas.

The charity trusts became less active after 1966/1969.


2.  KARIMJEE JIVANJEE FOUNDATION

In 2009 the family decided to revive the charity trusts and registered the new Karimjee Jivanjee Foundation (KJF). KJF commenced operations in 2011.
KJF is funded by donations from Toyota Tanzania.

The mission of KJF is to invest in Education as a means to enhance the economic development of Tanzania. Tanzania faces many short term and long term socio- economic difficulties. The long term solution to many of these challenges is education.
Our strategy is to provide scholarships to Tanzanians to study in Tanzania, and to make improvements to various schools.
KJF has approximately 50 Scholars studying at graduate and post graduate level in Tanzania.
In addition to scholarships KJF provides donations to some schools to make improvements to education facilities.

3.  MASTERS IN PAEDIATRIC ONCOLOGY
Two Tanzanian Doctors, Dr Rehema Laiti and Dr Shakilu Kayungo will be the first Doctors in Tanzania to study for a newly developed Masters in Paediatric Oncology at “MUHAS” Muhimbili University for Health and Allied Sciences.
They have received scholarships from the Karimjee Jivanjee Foundation to fund their two years study including a 3 month international work experience in hospitals in Ireland. The cost of the scholarships provided by Karimjee Jivanjee Foundation is Tshs 70 million.
The Rotary Paediatric Oncology Ward(Children’s Cancer Ward) at Muhimbili National Hospital is the newest and the best children’s cancer ward in East Africa. This new ward was completed in 2013 and it was funded by Six Rotary Clubs in Dar es Salaam at a cost of US $700,000.
Dr Trish Scanlan and Children in Crossfire are aware that the foundation for long term sustainability in clinical services is the establishment of local capacity in treating children with cancer. This requires qualified Tanzanian doctors working in hospitals around the country. We are grateful to Dr Scanlan and to Children in Crossfire for establishing this Masters Programme in Paediatric Oncology in collaboration with MUHAS.
Karimjee Jivanjee Foundation realised that the time had come
to trainTanzanian doctors in this specialised field of Paediatric
Oncology, and that is why we have agreed to provide
Scholarships to two Doctors. Currently Tanzania does not have
a single qualified Paediatric Oncologist apart from Dr Trish
Scanlan. Doctors Rehema Laiti and Shakilu Kayungo will be
the first Tanzanian Paediatric Oncologists.

It is my therefore my pleasure to award these two scholarships,
And congratulate Doctor Rehema Laiti and Doctor Shakilu
Kayungo for their awards.

Two Tanzanian Doctors, Dr. Rehema Laiti and Dr Shakilu Kayungo will be the first Doctors in Tanzania to study for a newly developed Masters in Paediatric Haematology/Oncology at “MUHAS” Muhimbili University for Health and Allied Sciences. 


They have received scholarships from the Karimjee Jivanjee Foundation to fund their two years study including a 3 month international work experience in hospitals in Ireland. The cost of the scholarships provided by Karimjee Jivanjee Foundation is Tshs 70 million.


Tanzania has pledged through the National Cancer Plan to make cancer care free for all patients. The Rotary Paediatric Oncology (Cancer) Ward at Muhimbili National Hospital is the only dedicated children’s cancer ward in Tanzania and all treatment is provided free of charge. The ward treats between 400-500 new cases annually. Children in Crossfire is an Irish NGO that has worked on children with cancer since 2008. A new ward was completed under their supervision in 2013 and funded by Six Rotary Clubs in Dar es Salaam at a cost of US $700,000.
 Children in Crossfire have made significant improvements in cancer treatment by supplying drugs and training nurses. An Irish children’s cancer specialist, Dr Trish Scanlan has managed the Paediatric Oncology services since 2007 and with the dedicated team of Tanzanian doctors and nurses, is responsible for increasing the long term survival rates of children with cancer from approximately 5% to 40-50%. 


Mr Hatim Karimjee, Chairman of Karimjee Jivanjee Foundation, said “It is now time for us to train Tanzanian doctors in this specialised field of Paediatric Oncology, and that is why we have agreed to provide scholarships to two Doctors”. Dr Trish Scanlan said that “The foundation for long term sustainability in clinical services is the establishment of local capacity in treating children with cancer. This requires qualified Tanzanian doctors working in hospitals around the country”.


Currently Tanzania does not have a single qualified Paediatric Oncologist apart from Dr Trish Scanlan. Doctors Dr Rehema Laiti and Dr Shakilu Kayungo are expected to be the first Tanzanian Paediatric Oncologists.  


The Karimjee Jivanjee Foundation is a charitable foundation established by the Karimjee family. It provides funding for enhancing Education in Tanzania. This is achieved by providing scholarships to Tanzanians to study at graduate and post graduate level in Tanzania. The Karimjee Foundation currently has 50 scholars studying in Tanzania.

Mchezaji Robin Van Persie ndiye aliyekuwa shujaa wa mchezo huo mara baada ya kuifungia timu yake hiyo mabao yote matatu maaraufu kama Hat trick na kuifanya timu ya Manchester United kuungana na timu nyingine ya chelsea toka Uingereza mara baada ya wawakilishi wengine waili timu ya Arsenal na Manchester City kuishia kwenye hatua ya timu kumi na sita bora.

Kwa kufanya hivyo timu ya Manchester imeweza kuvunja rekodi yake iliyoiweka tarkibani miaka 19 iliyopita mara baada ya kuwatoa Barcleona mnamo mwaka 1995 kbaada ya kuwa imefungwa nmabao 2-0 katika mchezo wa awali na Robin Van Persie kuwa mchezaji wa kwanza wa United kuifungia timu yake mabao matatu.

Kocha mkuu wa timu hiyo ambaye yuko kwenye wakati mgumu kutokana na mwenendo wa Mabingwa wao msimu, David Moyes alinukuliwa akisema ni wachezaji wachache sana duniani wanaoweza kufanya mambo aliyoyafanya Robin Van Persie na hivyo kumshukuru sana na kusema hakika ni mmoja kati ya wachezaji bora kabisa duniani kutokana na kiwango alichoonyesha jana usiku katika mchezo huo wa marudiano.
