The University of Dar es Salaam Computing
Centre (UCC) has pleasure to announce its Second Graduation Ceremony to be held on Friday of November 9, 2012, at the Karimjee Grounds in Dar
es Salaam, Tanzania. The ceremony will start at 2.00pm and will be for all candidates who
qualified for the award of Certificate in Computing and Information Technology, Certificate in
Business Information
Technology and Diploma in Computing and Information Technology for
the
years 2010 to 2012.
1. To Participate in the Graduation:
• Graduands
should confirm
their
participation by paying Tshs. 50,000/=
of which Tshs. 30,000/=
is a non-refundable gown hiring charge and Tshs. 20,000/= is a refundable deposit. Deposit will be
refunded when the gown is returned.
•
Payment can be done at UCC Mlimani, UCC City Centre Branch or any nearby UCC branch.
After payment, the student should send his/her name, course taken (Certificate or Diploma) and
receipt number to uccgraduation2012@uccmail.co.tz before 6th November 2012. NOTE that late
confirmation will note be accepted. List of all students who are supposed to graduate is
available at www.ucc.co.tz.
•
The gown shall be collected from the Office of the Administrator from 10.00am on 06th November
2012 for Certificate students and on 07th November 2012 for Diploma students. All Gowns should
be returned before the end of the third day after the graduation ceremony. A penalty of Tshs.
10,000/= per day will be levied for late return of the graduation gown.
2. Rehearsal:
•
All graduands have to participate in the rehearsal at the Karimjee Hall Grounds on Thursday of
November 08th, 2012 at 4.00pm.
• Note:
Those
who would
not rehearsal will
not be
allowed to participate in the
graduation
ceremony procession.
