Bank of Africa Tanzania joins diplomatic figures, business people, invited dignitaries and other cultural representatives to celebrate 26th anniversary of His Majesty King Mohammed VI’s accession to the throne of the Kingdom of Morocco as of its efforts to foster bilateral ties between Tanzania and Morocco.

Bank of Africa Tanzania proudly took part in the 26th anniversary celebration, the commemorative event, held in Dar es Salaam recently which among other things brought together distinguished delegates, diplomacy and other representatives to mark this important occasion.

Bank of Africa Tanzania is a subsidiary of the BANK OF AFRICA Group, a pan-African banking network headquartered in Morocco, with operations in 17 African countries and a strategic presence in France.

The Group is majority-owned by BANK OF AFRICA - BMCE, Morocco’s second-largest private bank. The bank reaffirmed its commitment to strengthening bilateral ties between Tanzania and Morocco through financial cooperation and cultural engagement.

The celebration underscored the growing relationship between the two nations, with Bank of Africa Tanzania standing as a bridge between East Africa and North Africa, fostering economic integration and shared prosperity.

Bank of Africa Tanzania remains committed to promoting regional development through strategic partnerships and impactful community engagement, in line with the group’s broader mission across Africa and beyond.

 The guest of honour was Hon. Ambassador Mahmoud Thabit Kombo (MP), Minister for Foreign Affairs and East African Cooperation.
