To celebrate the University's research successes, the University of Hull is offering 5 UK/EU PhD Scholarships or International PhD Fee Bursaries in the following academic areas of the Business School:

Economics
Empirical Finance & Banking
Logistics & Supply Chain Management
Marketing & Business Strategy
Organisational Behaviour& Human Resource Management
Regional & International Business
Systems Thinking & Sustainability Engineering (with Melbourne University, Australia)
Systems Thinking, Systems Science, Cybernetics & Information Systems
Closing date Monday 3 February 2014; Studentships will start in September 2014.
Applications are sought from suitably-qualified people wishing to pursue research leading to a PhD under the supervision of leading researchers.
Applicants to the Business school will be expected to have a Masters degree in an appropriate discipline, but very exceptional candidates can be considered with a minimum of a UK upper second class Bachelors Honours degree, or equivalent.
The International PhD Fee bursaries will cover full tuition fees for full-time overseas students for three years, depending on satisfactory progress, but no living expenses.
PhD students at the University of Hull follow modules for research and transferable skills development and gain a Masters level Certificate, or Diploma, in Research Training, in addition to their research degree.
