Despite rapidly technological revolution in banking sector that drive majority of clients into mobile banking services, the National Bank of Commerce (NBC) vows to continue to invest and expand its network branches across the country.
Speaking
to reporters during the official launching rewards program in Dar es Salaam at
the weekend, NBC, Managing Director, Edwards Marks said that the bank’s will
continue to invest in branches network in order to bring banking services to
near to the people in rural and urban areas.
He said
that the reward program is the special service that focuses on rewarding their
customer’s things that fit to the daily life styles through privilege and
private banking accounts to customers across the country.

“A
rewarding program is a special service that the bank’s recognize the presence
of our customers by giving backs to them things or service that suit to their
daily life,” he said.
Marks
added that the bank’s is retaking its position once again its Tanzanian market
by giving the customers a unique service by allowing them to continuing with
their purchasing behavior of goods and service with the discount from 10 up to
30 percent of their service in shopping or any other business.
He
underscored that after the launching of the reward program to its customers
which pave the way for them to continue enjoying their life aspiration by
banking and opening an account with NBC.
On his
part, NBC, Head of Liabilities and Affluent, Andrew Massawe said that the new
program gives client from privilege and private banking a chance to enjoy a
deduction of 10 to 30 percent of any service such as shopping or restaurant
service.
He said
that the NBC plans to expand this newly program to Arusha, Moshi and Mwanza to
open up more rooms for clients in up country to join and enjoy the service.
“We have
decided to launched a service that suit to our clients and make them enjoy the
NBC banking services and out of that by giving them what they want out of the
bank’s by also reducing their bill by 30 percent,” he added.
Massawe
said that the bank will also introduce that newly services to personal accounts
clients and the government institutions to join the majority of NBC clients
across the country.
