On the evening of Monday, 10 March 2025, the Director General of the African Minerals and Geosciences Centre (AMGC) was invited to an Iftar Buffet at the residence of H.E. Ambassador of the Arab Republic of Egypt in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania.
It is worth mentioning that Egypt has expressed its interest in joining AMGC since 2015. Recently, there have been vigorous undergoing attempts to transform Egypt's observer status in AMGC Policy Organs to a fully active member state in the Centre.
