BBC Media Action is the BBC's international charity. We believe in the power of media and communication to help reduce poverty and support people in understanding their rights. Our aim is to inform, connect and empower people around the world. With an expanding portfOlio, we are now advertising for the following positions in Tanzania:
Project Managers (2 Posts): Reporting to the Senior Projects Manager, and working closely with the Production and Research teams, the Project Managers will each be responsible for the management and delivery of a BBC Media Action project (outputs include media-sector capacity strengthening and radio content). The post holders will ensure the projects meet their objectives, and are delivered on time, within budget and to the highest possible standards. Fluent in English and Swahili, the Project Managers will have at least 3 years' experience of managing donor-funded development projects. They will have experience in developing work-plans, managing budgets, drafting reports and managing project cycles. Experience of the media sector and in health, and/or governance, and/or resilience, would be a distinct advantage.
