The United Nations World Food Programme in Tanzania is calling for Expression of Interest from C&F agents to provide customs clearing and forwarding services to WFP Tanzania Country Office.
All companies that wish to participate in the process are required to provide below listed information. The information provided will be used to verify your company's capability to qualify to participate in future C&F services. .
The C&F Agent will be engaged to cater for customs clearance, documentation, and loading of trucks/wagons or stacking into warehouses. Under the direct supervision of WFP, the potential Agent needs to fulfill the following criteria;
Minimum of 5 years experience in the field;
Adequate testimony showing it has worked/experienced with major international agencies;
Adequate transit bond;
Capacity to operate in all Tanzanian border posts;
Valid and renewed Tanzania Revenue Authority (TRA) License;
Equipped with adequate tracking facility.
All interested applicants must provide the following documents;
Legal registration of the company; Company profile;
Confirmation of financial capacity of the company (3 years Audited Statement of Accounts)
Reference contact list;
Other relevant supporting documents if necessary
