President Barack Obama has won re-election to a second term in the White House, defeating Republican challenger Mitt Romney.
As Obama claims victory with at least 275 electoral college votes, he
continues to lag in the popular vote count. Romney has 49.8% of the vote
while Obama has 48.9%.
