Director of Finance and Administration

Raleigh International is a vibrant and hugely successful youth and sustainable development charity, operating in Borneo, Costa Rica & Nicaragua, India and Tanzania. Raleigh International runs programmes for volunteers from around the world, bringing them together to work in remote poor communities improving access to safe water, education and livelihoods, and supporting the conservation of protected areas.
As an already respected and recognised brand, Raleigh is poised for exciting and expansive growth, with new government funding and market leading partnership agreements with large international development charities.  To further compound its success, Raleigh seeks a new Director of Finance and Administration to hold the following key responsibilities:

• Leading the finance function to deliver an exceptional financial service to the organisation;
• Delivering strategic financial guidance and planning to a dynamic Board and Chief Executive;
• Leading and driving several key projects, including the implementation of NetSuite in overseas locations;
• Building capacity for multiple revenue streams and supporting the development of Raleigh’s trading subsidiary;
• Driving an inclusive culture whilst managing and developing staff at varying levels;
• Communicate and build relationships with key government officials and partner organisations to ensure compliance and reporting standards are met.

The appointable candidate will be professionally qualified and have a strong track record of successful financial, operational and project management.  This is an exciting role for a senior leader who is looking to leverage their skills in a growing, yet well-established international charity.
