The Cooperative Audit and Supervision Corporation (COASCO) is a public organization which was established under the parliament Act No. 15 of 1982. The main objective of establishing the Corporation is to provide Auditing and supervision service to cooperative societies in Tanzania Mainland until 2005 when the law was amended to allow COASCO to provide Auditing and Consultancy services to iQclude Non Cooperative entities. COASCO has 15 regional offices in Arusha, Mara, Kaqera, Mwanza, Mbeya, Iringa, Dar es Salaam, Mtwara, Ruvuma, Kilimanjaro, Tabora. Shinyanga, Morogoro, Dodoma and Tanga with Headquarter in Dodoma.
COASCO invites applications from suitable qualified Tanzanians to fill the following vacancies.
Assistant Auditor Grade II (5 VACANCIES)
i) Qualifications and Experience
Holder of a Degree or Advanced Diploma in Accounting from recognized institutions.
Capable of undertaking external audits of different clients including Cooperatives, Must be computer literate.
ii) Duties and Responsibilities
Conduct audits of clients and issue audit reports Provide supervisory and advisory services to clients Periorm any other duties as directed by the employer
iii) Remuneration:
According to COASCO salary scales (Le. COASS 4)
iv) Age Limit: Not above 35 years
