Stanbic Bank’s Kahama customer wins Amarok

STANBIC Bank Tanzania, a member of the Standard Bank group, yesterday held a raffle for a draw of its campaign known as ‘switch’

The winner of the campaign was revealed through a raffle draw held at Stanbic headquarters in Dar es Salaam.

The campaign dubbed “Switch”, began on January 28 this year and attracted at least 1,296 participants, was won by Frank Msilu, from Kahama district in Shinyanga.

A brief ceremony was held in Dar es Salaam yesterday. Speaking during Stanbic Bank’s Head of personal and Business Banking Mr.Paul Omara said, although we are have picked the winner o our big prize today we still encourage the public  and our existing  customers to open current accounts with us and to continue enjoying the benefits that campaign offers. Mr Msilu would drive away with a brand new Amarok Highline MT, worth 82m/-. 

“Although we have picked Msilu as the winner of our big prize today, we still encourage the public and our existing customers to open current accounts with us and to continue enjoying the benefits that the campaign offers,” he said.

The campaign, which runs until the end of July this year, aims at attracting high net worth individuals, middle and young professionals, business owners, corporate as well as salaried employees and offers free banking until July.

Apart from that, the campaign also aimed to convince people who hold accounts in other banks to cross and open new account with Stanbic, the aim that was, according to the Acting Head of Marketing, also reached.

Other benefits included in the campaign, according to…, are Motor Vehicle, Home Loans and Life Insurance at Preferential Pricing; Joint income for Home Loans and Unsecured loans of up to 60m/- (Personal/Overdraft) disbursed within 48 hours.
