The successful running of the Bank lies within the Specialist Functions, the backbone of the organisation, expertly managing internal processes to ensure we operate like a well-oiled machine. The team provides the infrastructure critical to our day-to-day business, and the expertise needed to shape the future of the Bank. Together, Group Internal Audit and Corporate Real Estate Services manage 2,500 buildings in 71 markets and all the systems, processes and structures to ensure an efficient operation.

The 18 month Specialist Functions International Graduate Programme is an intensive development programme that aims to build your capabilities towards a specialist career in a niche area of the Bank.

Specialist Functions International Graduate Programme Do you want to work behind the scenes, in a specialist function? Does complexity stimulate and excite you? Are you a specialist with a passion for people, real estate or numbers? Specialist Functions International Graduate Programme applicants must also possess an undergraduate degree. For applicants to the Corporate Real Estate Services stream, your degree must be in a related discipline (e.g. Engineering, Real Estate, Architecture, Surveying, Building Management or Environmental Studies).

Typically the application will involve six steps:
Online registration . Provide some basic information about yourself to get started.

Online assessments. Once you’ve registered, you will be invited to complete a series of online assessments. The assessments are conducted sequentially and you will need to complete and pass each one before progressing to the next.

Full application. On completion of the online assessments, you’ll be asked to complete the online application, providing additional information such as your academic history and work experience

Telephone interview. Following the submission of the online application form, you will be invited to participate in a telephone interview. This interview is your opportunity to tell us about your achievements and strengths, and for you to ask us any questions you may have.

Final assessments. Following the telephone interview, selected applicants will be invited to take part in various assessments designed to further determine your suitability for the programme.

Offer. Once the interview process is complete, we will inform you of our decision, typically within 72 hours.
