Position Description:
We are looking for a creative head chef to join the team in opening up a new restaurant / sports bar around Arusha. It will be set in an intimate garden, introducing a fresh approach to hospitality and offer cosmopolitan dishes.
Responsibilities will include:
·         Menu selection and costing.
·         Recipe pricing, training and testing.
·         Systematically maintaining stock levels.
·         Managing the kitchen and kitchen staff.
·         Ensure that quality dishes are served on schedule.
·         Ensure kitchen and work surfaces are kept neat and organised.
·         Modify and create new menus as needed.
·         Order supplies and report to the Restaurant Manager.
·         Maintain complete control of the kitchen at all times.
·         Approve all dishes leaving the kitchen and deal with complaints appropriately.
